Julie Baird grew up in the small coastal town of San Gregorio, CA. Growing up in a community of 200 people, she has always had a deep love for her large family, agriculture, and her rural community. Julie and her husband David purchased her family’s small ranch and lived just a few miles from her in-law’s ranch. Keeping the property within the family was deeply important to Julie. Julie’s 5 siblings, along with their children, have access to their childhood home and ranch. The ranch has a place for all the nieces’ and nephews’ 4-H animals, horses, dogs, and dirt bikes.
Julie earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1995. After college Julie was a national salesperson for a wholesale floral company, where she spent 6 years in the horticultural industry before establishing her appraisal business. Julie holds a California Certified Residential Real Estate License with an FHA certification and is an Earth Advantage Accredited Green Appraiser. She currently owns Hidden Creek Appraisal Inc. and has been in the residential real estate appraisal business for over 20 years. Her extensive knowledge of the real estate market serves her clients well.
Julie enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband and now-grown sons. In her free time, you will find Julie with her family in the mountains, deer and elk hunting, in the duck blind, fishing, or in the field with the animals. Julie is also known for feeding the crowd wherever she is. Whether it is the high school football team, a family reunion, or during cattle gathering day, she is usually responsible for all the food.
